The Keynote Speaker – Starting at $250

You pitched your killer talk idea to your favourite conference, and they picked you. They. Picked. You. Cue the panic, right? Maybe you’ve never spoken in front of anyone but your dog before, or you’ve been recycling the same material for a while, with lackluster results. I can help you write your talk from scratch, or help you refine your completed slides and notes so that the only thing anyone can talk about for days afterwards is your absolute brilliance.How I’ll help if your talk is just a sparkle in your eye:

• We’ll go through your idea and create an outline, notes, and design slides (when needed. I’ll outsource this, and pass costs directly on to you without a markup)
• I’ll give you tips on how to deal with questions, redirect the one guy who won’t shut up, or recover from a flub
• We’ll practice your talk on webcam  so I can give tips on what you’re wearing, what you’re doing with your hands, and how to deal with that one strand of hair that just won’t stay out of your face

How I’ll help if your talk is a fully realized idea:

• We’ll skip straight to the tips. I will approach your talk like the most annoying audience member you’ve ever encountered, asking questions at the wrong time, misunderstanding, and basically helping you create the most airtight talk possible
• We’ll practice your talk on webcam, so I can give the tips above – clothes, hair, hand talkers, I have it all covered.

What else I can do:

• Travel to your conference location and be there as your in person cheerleader, stylist, and water bearer
• Help  you write pitches for other conferences
• Share all about your amazingness with the people I know in the photography conference industry

The Intervention – $150

We’ve all had that one customer who is making us crazy – the mother of the bride bombarding us with emails, the new mom who doesn’t understand why you didn’t get any shots of Little Billy without the ice cream smear on his jacket – you know, the one he showed up with? My one customer was the most painful and expensive communication lesson I’ve ever had to deal with, and I’d like to help you avoid having to send back a client’s full session fee, too.

The Intervention is my way of helping you figure out how to deal with an unhappy customer and come out as the hero, turning a negative interaction into one where your client is singing your praises, and you don’t feel like a doormat in the process.

How we’ll do it:

• We’ll meet via Skype and discuss every detail of the client, the situation, and the ways we can resolve it
• I’ll write, or help you write, an email or phone script to respond to your unhappy client
• I’ll follow up with you via email  up to three times until the situation is resolved
